About

About Austin AC Works

A licensed commercial HVAC contractor based in Austin, owned and run by Orbelin Zamora.

Crew working on a commercial rooftop with condensing units and ductwork

Licensed, local and commercial

Austin AC Works is owned by Orbelin (Orbie) Zamora, who has held a Texas Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Contractor license since 2015. The company was organized as Austin AC Works LLC in 2019 and works on commercial buildings across Austin and Central Texas.

We focus on the equipment that cools most of Austin's commercial space: packaged rooftop units, split systems, air-to-air and geothermal heat pumps, and the sheet metal and spiral duct that connect them. We install, replace, repair and maintain that equipment, and we work as the mechanical subcontractor for general contractors on finish-outs and new construction.

We don't work on chillers or cooling towers. Keeping that focus means the people on your job work on this equipment every day.
